Education: B.E / B. Tech. or above in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation /Petroleum Engineering(downstream)

Experience: 1 to 6 years (Relevant experience)

Job Description

• Candidate should be qualified engineer with relevant experience and possess the leadership, qualities, technical and managerial skills, safety consciousness, good listening and analytical skill.
• Candidate should be able to implement O&M procedure, work instruction and safe practices for all routine maintenance and emergency handling and to ensure that the activities are carried out as per documented procedures, instructions and safe practices.
• Candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, technical and safety requirements pertaining to CGD system for execution of operations and Maintenance works, starting from establishing and manning of control room, preparation and execution of Annual Operation Maintenance Plan, covering scheduled monitoring, operation, maintenance, statutory compliance, audit and inspection, post commissioning services to customers including preparation, maintenance and submission of various reports.
• He should ensure that operations and maintenance activities being performed in line with requirement of PNGRB’s Technical Standard and Specifications including Safety Standards for CGD.
• Candidate should have hands-on experience in operations and handling of City Gate Station, Odorant unit, District Pressure Regulating Skid, Industrial Metering & Pressure Reduction skid, Commercial and domestic installations.
• Candidate should be able to manage operations and maintenance practices of steel and MDPE network – CP survey, PSP Monitoring, Steel Valves, LPT, LDT, Patrolling & Network Surveillance.
• Candidate shall be responsible for liasoning with local authorities/Govt bodies to ensure minimal third-party activity in the vicinity of gas network.
• Candidate should plan and organize activities related to Joint Meter reading within timeline to ensure timely billing of customers.
• Candidate will be responsible for gas reconciliation from that includes preparation and timely submission of daily consumption report and joint meter reading.
• While carrying out any O&M activity, the Candidate should take care of the health, safety, Security and environment protection (HSSE) for employees, machines, network and equipment.
• Candidate will be responsible for uptime of gas network and related equipment’s to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to all customers segments.
• Candidate will be responsible for inventory management, especially for essential spares / assets management.
• Candidate should make all efforts to ensure incident free operations and maintenance; He should take all action as per ERP to control / mitigate the consequences and assist in investigation in case of untoward incidents/accidents.
• Candidate should be responsible for technical and HSE training to sub-ordinates for effective operations and maintenance.
