Experience: 9-14 years in sales, marketing, or business development in the CGD, Oil & Gas, Energy, or Infrastructure sector.
Job Overview:
The Senior Manager – Domestic Marketing will be responsible for driving the marketing and customer acquisition strategies for the domestic (household) segment in the City Gas Distribution (CGD) industry. The role involves increasing the penetration of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) connections, enhancing customer engagement, and developing innovative marketing campaigns to promote the adoption of natural gas in residential areas.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Customer Acquisition:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase PNG connections in residential segments.
- Identify potential residential clusters, societies, and new development projects for PNG expansion.
- Drive customer outreach programs to educate households on the benefits of PNG.
- Work with city authorities, builders, and resident welfare associations (RWAs) to facilitate pipeline network expansion.
Branding & Promotional Campaigns:
- Design and execute marketing campaigns (both digital and offline) to enhance brand visibility.
- Oversee media, advertising, and promotional activities, including social media, local events, and door-to-door campaigns.
- Develop customer awareness programs through exhibitions, workshops, and direct interactions.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
- Enhance the customer onboarding experience by streamlining documentation and connection activation processes.
- Improve customer retention through proactive service engagement and feedback mechanisms.
- Address customer concerns related to service availability, pricing, and safety through coordinated communication.

- Develop and monitor KPIs for domestic customer acquisition and pipeline expansion.
- Track conversion rates from lead generation to final PNG installation.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies to refine marketing approaches.

- PNG distribution, pipeline connectivity, and domestic gas usage patterns.
- Consumer behaviour and marketing strategies for household segments.
- Regulatory compliance and safety standards in the CGD industry.
